The planting of Glorious Fellowship Church in Pretoria started as a mysterious work of God, as always. It was early 2022 when I, Pastor Patrick Nemabubuni, received a call from Mr. Curious (pseudonym) saying that he was tired of his church experience thus far and that his soul was longing for the undiluted Word of God.  He was fed up with the health and prosperity gospel; in response to his request, I visited him in his office, Centurion Pretoria, where I met another employee who was in the same spiritual condition as Mr. Curious. Long story short, in the same week, I visited them and shared the gospel, and they all, by God’s grace, recommitted themselves to the Lord.

Shortly after sharing the gospel with them, we started Bible Study sessions every Friday in Centurion, at their work boardroom, on the epistle of Second John. The word spread like wildfire, and others joined the Bible Study Fellowship. Surprisingly, the few people who joined were also fed up with the health and prosperity gospel in their respective churches, thus looking for a sound biblical church. One spiritual need led to another, and finally, it was evident that those attending Bible Study Sessions were looking for a spiritual home or sound Biblical Church where they could continue to enjoy the same teachings and fellowship as they were doing in the Bible Study Sessions. By God's grace, in January 2023, we found a new church venue at Hall 202 Ancore Building, 85 Steve Biko Street in Sunnyside Pretoria.
